New Tonicians join our Dubai office

I’d like to welcome 6 new Tonicians who’ve joined us in recent months, in order of arrival:

Walid KushtobanWalid Kushtoban is known amongst Tonicians as the “Fire Cracker”. He joins us as a Business Manager (Advertising)

Walid Kushtoban was born in Kuwait in 1985, the youngest child of four. The family relocated to Lebanon in the early 90’s. Where he received his education and earned his BA in Marketing from the Canadian University of Beirut.

Ever since a young adult, Walid became the centre of the night scene in Beirut, functioning under the name “Weelz” having fun, sipping cocktails and dancing the night away. The “Party” is his second job! He knows how to snap up the spotlight and “crack some fire”.

This personality is reflected in all aspects of his life, especially at work. He has developed his own “brand” of living with such style and flare, Walid is driven to help develop and deliver these ideas for others. He knows how to work that magic and turn the boring pumpkin into a glamorous ride.

After 4 years cutting his teeth at Drive Dentsu in their client servicing team, he joins Tonic Communications ready for a fresh challenge and new opportunities to learn and grow.


Linda SawayaLinda Sawaya is known amongst Tonicians as the “Creative Facilitator “. She joins us as a Business Manager (Branding).

She is from Lebanon but grew up in the U.A.E. She graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-Entrepreneurship track.

Prior to joining Tonic, Linda worked for Brand Union Middle East where she has handled and lead projects for several of the region’s biggest clients. Moreover, she was heavily involved in business development and helped develop brand strategies which include market research, analysis, positioning and naming.

Linda is very passionate about business and is always looking for opportunities to build her portfolio. She hopes to learn as much as she can about the marketing communications industry and bring positivity, passion as well as creativity to Tonic.

On the social side, Linda is an active athlete and a sports enthusiast. She is continuously participating in sporting events across the country!


Red BroadRed Broad, known amongst Tonicians as “The Crafty One”. Red  joins Tonic as a trainee art director and is fresh off the boat from the UK – originally born in the green and grassy University City of Cambridge.

Creativity is a theme she bonded with early, through the nurture of her musical and artistic parents.

Although being brought up with a religious purpose and not encouraged to focus on a career in ‘the world’, constant curiosity of ‘taboo’ topics and having ‘too much fun’ led to leaving her life behind and start for a new chapter at 19, learning the world all over again.

Feeling late in life and unable to fund university she went on to create her own path in what she knew best through a blog of artwork, which grew humbly over the years into a website and ranged from tattoo design, illustration, portraits, hand made gifts and characters made into greeting cards, soft toys and models.

Surrounding herself with inspirational and motivating people would be the making of her in what you call the university of life and a nickname ‘the crafty one’.

She is involved in Gaming, Film, Media, Fashion, Art, Music, Events, anything entertaining and creative she can get her hands on.


Tom AniortTom Aniort is known amongst Tonicians as “Reality Check Provider“. Tom join us as a Business Executive (Branding).

He is a 24 year old Frenchman who spent the major part of his childhood in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia and Oman).

Following his business studies in the south of France where he obtained a Marketing and Communication Master degree, he came back in the region.

After an internship in UbiFrance Dubai, a governmental agency specialised in business consulting, he started working for a design agency called Cent Degres as Client Servicing Executive for clients such as Chanel, Chalhoub, Danone, etc…

Quickly passionate, he decided to seek for a new challenge with one and only goal: integrate a creative makers agency, inspired and conducted by passion principles.

He joins Tonic to reinforce our branding team on several projects such as The Galleria and Gulf Related.

Apart from work, he enjoys sports, travels and loves particularly fishing weekends with friends in Musandam (Oman).

Tom says he his very happy to be part of Tonic family and expects gain more experience in this innovative environment.
